Upper School Transition
Linslade and Cedars have a proud tradition of working together to mould and support the children of Linslade and Leighton Buzzard; to follow their dreams whether that be through further educational pathways or vocational paths. We continue to develop and evolve this partnership through our new SLT team and staff bodies. We hope that the frequent liaison and strong working relationships that we have created with Cedars, a fellow trust school, will enable our students to make the logical and smooth transition to Year 9 and beyond. Cedars facilities and results, at both GCSE and A-level, are extremely strong and have long been regarded as one of the best Upper Schools in Bedfordshire. Cedars staff and Linslade staff have worked on creating a smooth links in our curriculum’s and our pastoral teams liaise on a regular basis.
We hope that our partnership will support all pupils and where they can continue to build on the strong educational foundation that they have been offered at Linslade; reaching their dreams and become the ‘Learners of today and Leaders of tomorrow.’
